A community of real people; many of whom have known the loss of bereavement, gone through the pain of divorce or experienced the agony of unemployment. People whose dreams may have been shattered and re-built. You will also meet people whom God has challenged to re-assess their lives and their lifestyle. We don’t claim to have arrived, but we do claim to be on a journey: one enriched by God and his undeserved love. A journey with the sense of purpose that only Jesus brings.

Mission - building bridges of friendship and service in our neighbourhood and making the good news of Jesus Christ known locally and world-wide;
Membership - deepening relationships through mutual love, care and commitment to each other;
Maturity - growing in our love and service of Christ together.
LBC is a community of seekers and learners. We want to know God better and to actively depend on Him with the whole of our lives. As God changes and refines LBC, He calls us to invest all that we are into being catalysts for other lives that need change. To this end, we are constantly seeking out new ways of effectively reaching today's generation with the good news of Jesus Christ.
Whenever, wherever, whatever the cost, we desire to be a 'Spirit-led' community that sees where God is moving and responds without hesitation to follow His lead. We want to glorify Christ and bring others into a living relationship with Him.
The teaching at LBC seeks to be biblical, thought-provoking, memorable and life-related.
