Purpose Statement:
We are here to bring glory to God the Father in our lives, bring others into a living relationship with Jesus Christ and to become a Spirit led community. At LBC you will meet real people. People, who’ve known the loss of bereavement, gone through the pain of divorce and experience the agony of unemployment. People whose dreams have been shattered and re-built. You’ll also meet people whom God has challenged to re-assess their lives and their lifestyle. We don’t claim to have arrived. But we do claim to be on a journey: one enriched by God and his undeserved love. A journey with the sense of purpose that only Jesus brings. |
LBC Mission Statement:
By the work of God's Holy Spirit, we seek to achieve our purpose by : Magnifying worship of and devotion to God; Ministry identifying, nurturing and using our gifts and abilities willingly and sacrificially; Mission building bridges of friendship and service in our neighbourhood and making the good news of Jesus Christ known locally and world-wide; Membership deepening relationships through mutual love, care and commitment to each other; Maturity growing in our love and service of Christ together. |
