At LBC, we welcome those who are searching for a new church. We believe it is vitally important for believers to meet regularly together to learn, comfort and share fellowship with each other.

Frequently Asked Questions
Visiting a new church can be a daunting experience, especially if you are new to the area or are attending a church service for the first time. We hope that the following information will help you get an insight into our church so that you will feel more comfortable when you visit. If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask.
Where can I park?
We do not have on-site parking, but there are a number of free on-street parking spaces around the church and several pay and display car parks near-by.
Mon - Sat pay and display and 1 hour only except with disabled badge. There is some free parking in the residential area well up the hill.
What time do the Sunday services start?
Our service on Sunday mornings starts at 10.30am. During this service there is a time of worship before the children leave to attend Sunday School. There is then a time of teaching for the adults.
On the first Sunday of each month there is a communion service in the evening at 6.30pm.
What happens when I arrive?
There are two doors open on a Sunday morning - the front door and side door on Robert Street. The side door has easier access for children, push-chairs and wheelchairs. There will be someone to greet you and direct you into the service.
Are there Bibles available?
There are Bibles in the pews for your use. Also the Bible readings are usually projected onto the big screen.
Where do I sit?
You may sit wherever you feel most comfortable.
Is there a dress-code?
No. Come as you wish!
Do you have baby-changing facilities?
We have baby changing facilities available in two areas within the church building.
Do you have disabled access?
There is disabled persons access from the side entrance on Robert Street. We have disabled persons facilities at both ground floor and first floor levels. We also have a lift for access to the first floor. For the hard of hearing there is a 'loop' system in the main church building and the ground floor Fellowship Room.
Can I arrange a meeting with the Minister or one of the main leaders?
Speak to anyone after the service and they will introduce you to the minister, an elder or another leader.
