At LBC we are intentionally seeking to engage in holistic mission. Our vision is to become a Spirit led community by becoming disciples who make disciples of Jesus Christ. We long to be a church where each person is equipped to share the 'good news' about Jesus, a fellowship that engages with the local community at a number of different levels and a church that is committed to the mission of God in the wider world.
We are a friendly and accepting place where together we can discover more about God and his will for our lives in the company of people who are on the same journey. Our congregation is made up of all types of people – all ages, different nationalities, from all walks of life, each with our own unique story and journey to faith. Church Christmas Card
This year we are encouraging people to write in the collective card on the wall to send your best wishes to the church family. The money that you will have saved on cards can be popped in the donation box provided to go towards CAP and it’s valuable work in the local area! |

Shoe Box Appeal
Please remember the Shoebox appeal, offering a small expression of care and kindness to those who need it most. Details of the appeal are in the monthly news. There is a poster on the noticeboard in the foyer, and flyers you can take home on the table in the foyer. |

Free Car Parking
From Sunday 24th November until 22nd December there will be free car parking in the town centre pay and display car parks including Nelson street |

CONNECT GROUPS
At LBC, we encourage our members to attend a local Connect Group. These groups meet regularly to learn more about God and to encourage one another to keep walking with Jesus and grow in faith. The groups spend time studying the Bible, praying and encouraging one another to spread the hope of the gospel to friends, colleagues and family. |

ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN ON A SUNDAY MORNING

SING & PLAY
Every Thursday 10:00 to 11:30 during term time Our toddler and baby group meets during term time every Thursday morning from 10:00 to 11:30. Bring your pre-school children to enjoy toys galore, a singing and instrument session and juice and biscuits. With coffee and tea for the adults and the chance to catch up and make new friends. We look forward to seeing you soon! |

Haven Café
Every first and third Saturday of each month between 10am and 1.30pm. You are very welcome to come along and have fellowship with us, chatting to one another in a safe space. We serve refreshments, soup and cake without charge. from the Haven café team |
