At LBC we are intentionally seeking to engage in holistic mission. Our vision is to become a Spirit led community by becoming disciples who make disciples of Jesus Christ. We long to be a church where each person is equipped to share the 'good news' about Jesus, a fellowship that engages with the local community at a number of different levels and a church that is committed to the mission of God in the wider world.
We are a friendly and accepting place where together we can discover more about God and his will for our lives in the company of people who are on the same journey. Our congregation is made up of all types of people – all ages, different nationalities, from all walks of life, each with our own unique story and journey to faith. Together we are Lancaster Baptist Church. Whatever your age, background, beliefs or current experiences you are very welcome at LBC. |

Prayer and worship evening
7th January at 7.30pm Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his ; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. |
CONNECT GROUPS
At LBC, we encourage our members to attend a local Connect Group. These groups meet regularly to learn more about God and to encourage one another to keep walking with Jesus and grow in faith. Groups If you would like to join a group to study God’s word, pray and have fellowship together, either on Zoom, in people’s homes, or in church, please ask for more details.
