Study study series Jonah the great escape
If you have ever decided that you did not want to follow your parent's instructions, and then experienced some serious consequences, you can probably relate to Jonah. Jonah refuses to follow God's instructions and gets in big trouble. In the beginning of Jonah's tale, God asks him to go to Nineveh and tell the people there to stop being so prideful and acting like heathens. Jonah refuses and instead runs away and jumps on a ship heading for Tarshish. While he is at sea, a terrible storm comes and all the sailors fear that ship will be destroyed.
