48 hr prayer time for Ukraine
In view of the deepening crisis relating to the conflict in Ukraine, an LBC 48 hour time of prayer is being organised, to enable us to join together remotely as a church community in a chain of unbroken prayer about the situation.
This is not a prayer meeting.
Everyone will be praying from their own home at the time they choose to book on the sign-up sheet see below
.
Our planned 48 hours of prayer will take place from Friday 30th September at 9 am to Sunday 2nd October at 9 am.
Attached are some suggestions about things that we can pray for, but do not feel you have to use these. We will also spend some time during our church service on 2nd October remembering the Ukraine in prayer. The link below will take you to the sign-up sheet for the 48 hours of prayer:

In order to sign up for one of the prayer slots, you need to click on a time on the booking sheet that is convenient for you and this will open up a booking window. The system will set the booking for half an hour from the start time you have chosen. If you wish to pray for longer, click on ‘Change duration’ and you can adjust the length of time you wish to pray for, then click on OK. When you have set the time, click on the red button ‘Book’. Then click on ‘Finish’.
You do not have to use the booking system. If you prefer, you can just email me at [email protected] with the time you want to pray and I will book this in for you.
Our prayers are vital at this time, so please consider taking part in our 48 hours of prayer. It would be wonderful if we could fill the 48 hour period with our prayers!
There are wonderful things that will only happen if we ask for them and unspeakably terrible things that will prevail unless we harness our wills with God’s will to resist them”. Pete Grieg
