Lancaster has a diverse student population thanks to Lancaster University and the University of Cumbria. At Lancaster Baptist Church there is a range of activities which will meet the needs of students; whether you're a first year, finalist, international student or mature student, then no doubt there will be something for you!
Why not give us a try as you look for a church family?
We will provide free Sunday lunch to all our visitors and students during the autumn term from October 2nd.
We aim to incorporate students into the everyday life of the church, which extends far beyond Sundays.
As well as gaining a degree we want to help you to grow in your relationship with God , build quality relationships and express God's love to those around you.
You are welcome to join in with house groups, music, helping 
with the young people's work and social activities.
We hope that you find a church to belong to rather than just attend during your time in Lancaster. Please take the chance to get to know us!
There are a variety of ways to do this:
o Say “hello” to the people in the congregation – most of them would love to meet you.
o Join one of the small groups that meet throughout Lancaster on different nights of the week.
o Watch out for the various events that come up in the life of LBC. They really are for all of us so you will be welcome.
We are joined by a good number of UK and international students from Lancaster University and the University of Cumbria
