CONNECT Groups
We believe that Lancaster Baptist Church has been called to ‘serve the community’.
So we believe that the most important thing we can do for our town is to be a community. Living in community and sharing our experiences of life with each other, praying for one another, and having fun together, just as the early church did, is the goal of our Connect Groups.
Each Connect Group exists to strengthen and support the mission of the church, by helping members of the group to grow in their faith and in their love and care for each other and for those in the wider community.
Our groups meet in people's homes each week, at various times to suit different needs.
The groups have the following format:
Welcome - a time to get to know each other better
Worship - a time to give praise and thanks to God
Word - a time to look at God's Word
Work - a time to think about 'how' to apply God's Word to our daily living
'Wispa' - a time to share refreshments!
