Lancaster Baptist Church
Offers lots of different groups for children of all ages, from crèche and Sing & Play for babies and toddlers, right the way up to 18 year olds. It is our privilege to offer groups which allow young people to experience and encounter Jesus for themselves in a safe and fun environment.
All over-18s who are involved in leading or helping with the children’s and youth work at Lancaster Baptist Church have been checked by the Disclosure & Barring Service formerly the Criminal Records Bureau – CRB – prior to January 2013).
Checks form part of our wider recruitment procedures, which apply to volunteers and paid workers alike. Through application forms, references, and informal interviews, we do our best to ensure that adults are suitable to work with young people before they get involved.
I’m Stephen Humphrey, and I am LBC’s Designated Person for Safeguarding. If you have any questions about safeguarding at LBC, or if you have any concerns or problems, you can always come and see me in church on a Sunday. Any concerns or problems you may have regardless of how minor they might seem should be reported to me immediately, at any time of day or night.
